A First First

Although we ultimately missed two days of our vacation, we were given first class on our way to Austin. This was Max and Corey's first time in first class and they both enjoyed it immensely! Max snuggled up to me in my spacious seat and slept for a good part of the flight.

We had such a nice time in Austin. Thanks to all for making it a wonderful trip. It made us wish we lived in Austin all over again. We had a great time visiting old haunts like Shady Grove, Hula Hut, Polvos, Little Deli, Rudy's, Mandola's and all in the company of great friends. Kirk & Kendra were the perfect hosts as always. Austin, we miss you and can't wait to visit again!

Boy are you in trouble! You have ruined not only your husband, but your little boy before his first birthday. I hate to sound like a snob, but first class really is the ONLY way to travel. Especially overseas:).

I love the first picture - he looks like the king of the skies!

I'm so happy to see Max's face again! It's been too long. I only wish that he would have been on his way to come see me.

Come see me, Max. I will take good care of you. A first class vacation.

I love the picture of Max with his hands pressed against the window, like he wants to get out to the sky.

The father-son photos are awesome, btw. The hairline/eyebrow resemblance only grows (bad pun) stronger by the day.

Hi! I just ran across your blog by linking from Angie's and realized that I used to know your husband! Freshman year at BYU, my friend Lisa had a thing for Corey's friend, Nate. In fact, she called him dream boy, and a few times Nate and Corey indulged us with their presence and we got to hang out. Ask Corey if he remembers going up to my house in Sundance playing pool and jumping off the balcony into the deep snow . . . I have pics if he forgot. :)
fun blog!

Leslie-
Yes, Corey remembers you well. First off, I am sorry to hear you knew my husband freshman year. From the stories and pics I've seen it was divine intervention that we DIDN'T meet until our mid 20's. We would both love to see the pics though.

Second, I am so sorry for your friend who had a crush on Nate. We are friends with Nate and his wife still and Corey loves to tease him about his horrible dating stories. How do you know Angie?
