Yesterday was a long, snowy day so candlestick bowling was the perfect activity. We met the Crimson Kids at Lanes n' Games and though we were a rowdy bunch, the kids had a great time. The balls are about 3lbs each and the pins about half size, perfect for toddlers and young children. They even had small bowling shoes for Max's little feet. Max bowled a 66, about what his mom usually bowls, and loved throwing the ball down the lane and spinning around and around on the slick floor.
Max watching his ball hit the pins with Oliver looking on.

We used to drive up to Connecticut to go candlestick or "duck" bowling. Love the pic of max; it looks so fun!
Love the little man bowling shoes. And Max's signature squat.
hi ashley. this is julie (earl) hanson. I grew up with Corey and happened upon your blog through Stephanie "Critts" Ryan. I will find out on Tuesday at book club how you two know each other. Little Max is a doll.
cute, cute, cute. It's so great how family-friendly Harvard is. MIT? Not so much...
Max is adorable!
That first photo is absolutely adorable. What is candlestick bowling? Maybe I would have better luck with that than the real...er, sport.
Can you please get some better lighting and focus so I can see that kid? He is too cute.
